City of Anderson Update: Soirée, International Event, Housing, Parks

The City of Anderson is budding with activity moving into Spring.
April 15-19 brings the International Network of Michelin Cities, a group that encourages collaboration between cities with Michelin connections around the world to lead the transition to sustainable development. More here.
Two weeks later, the Anderson Soirée returns April 26-27 with more events and music, including a headline concert by Country Music Star Josh Turner. More here.
Meanwhile, with annexation and expansion, more than 4,000 new houses are going up in the city limits, as the area continues its rapid growth. Expanded recreational facilities, including the Linley Park project, recreation center and trails are in the works to meet increased demand.
