Council to Consider Tax Incentives for Two Companies Adding Jobs

Anderson County Council will consider tax incentives for the expansion of two unnamed businesses already located in the county which would add a total of 243 new jobs and investments of more than $70 million, as part of Tuesday’s meeting at 6:30 p.m. in the historic courthouse downtown.

At the special recognitions meeting at 6 p.m, council will honor the late Dr. William McMurtrey "Mack" Burriss, an iconic figure in the history of animal welfare in Anderson County.
