County Council to Hold First Vote on FY 24-25 Budget
Greg Wilson/Anderson Observer
Anderson County Council will vote on first reading on the fiscal year 2024-2025 budget as part of Tuesday’s meeting at 6:30 p.m. in the historic courthouse.
The first reading comes after multiple meeting by the county council finance committee, and expected to see multiple changes before the final vote on the budget in June. No tax increases are currently being considered as part of the new budget.
At the council’s 6 p.m. honors and resolutions meeting, council will honor North Pointe Elementary School for winning the “Palmetto’s Finest” award, proclaim May 15 as Peace Officers Memorial Day and May 18-24 as National Safe Boating Week.
