Darius Rucker Tickets for Anderson Concert on Sale Friday

Darius Rucker is set to perform at a charity concert at William A. Floyd Amphitheater at Anderson Civic Center July 28 at 7 p.m. Tickets go on sale Friday here. The opening act is yet to be announced.

Rucker, former front man for Hootie and the Blowfish, is the main attraction for the Southern Fried Circuit charity concert, to benefit the Upcountry Fiber Foundation, the charitable arm of Upcountry Fiber, a broadband partnership between Blue Ridge Electric Cooperative and West Carolina Telephone Cooperative.

The endowment’s goal, according to their website, is to: “Enrich the lives of residents in the Upcountry Fiber and Blue Ridge Electric Cooperative service territories, proudly offering financial support to philanthropic organizations that serve the community in the interests of education, youth, culture, arts, health, and human services. The Foundation is committed to creating a stronger connection between local organizations that link people and businesses with areas of need.”
