Early Voting for Iva Special Election Begins Next Week

Early in-person voting for the special election to fill the Town of Iva Town Council Ward 3 unexpired seat begins Feb. 13 and continues through Feb. 24. The election is to fill the seat held by long-time council member Mary Forrester who passed away last year.

Early Voting will take place at the Anderson County Voter Registration and Elections Office, 301 N. Main Street from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.

When voting early in-person, voters must present a valid photo identification. Acceptable forms of ID’s are a South Carolina Driver’s license, a photo ID issued by the DMV, a photo voter registration card, or a United States. Passport.

The Special Election, is scheduled Feb. 28.
