Dude Chat Aims to Offers Safe Place for Men in Area

When Brock Elder and Sanchez Neeley noticed that many of their friends felt isolated and did not seem to have clear avenues for friendships or even a place to talk about their lives, they decided to take action.

The men created “Dude Chat”, an organization which meets twice a month at the main branch of the Anderson County Library to provide a safe place for men to talk about their lives and struggles with no fear or judgment. For those with more complex issues, the group even provides referrals to get professional help.
