Road Closures Set Downtown Saturday for "Trucks on Main"

“Trucks on Main” will bring a collection of vehicles, including fire trucks, road repair trucks, law enforcement vehicles, construction equipment, garbage trucks, agricultural machinery and other big equipment to downtown Anderson Saturday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

As part of the event, roads will be close at Main Street between Whitner Street and Benson Stree and at Whitner Street between Main Street and McDuffie Street from 9 a.m.-3 p.m..

The annual event, sponsored by Junior League of Anderson and the City of Anderson, will also include visits with law enforcement and first responders, food trucks and other events.

The event is free and open to the public.
