Labor Day has come and Anderson County is experiencing a busy September.
Construction is already under way on the new $83 million detention center, which should be open in less than three years, a new sign and big event is planned for [Anderson Regional Airport, PAWs looking for forever families for pets and getting ready for their fall event, courthouse repairs/improvements set for completion by end of the year, and hydrogen fuel cell work going strong at Bosch are only part of the activity.
Anderson County Administrator Rusty Burns discusses these items, economic development news, plus information on proposed November penny sales tax for roads is now being disseminated across the county to give voters the facts on the proposal in this interview with the Anderson Observer.
