Anderson County School District 5 is working on a lease agreement to allow the South Carolina Athletics Coaches Association (SCACA) to move its office to Anderson.

The group would lease unused space in the district’s Adult Education building on North Main Street in Anderson.

The SCACA website states the following goals of the group: “Our mission is to promote, protect, and teach the student athletes of South Carolina through effective leadership and professional development of coaches.”

The new executive director of the coach’s association is former Westside High School Coach Scott Earley. The current offices of the SCACA are in Greenwood
