Sheriff Kicks Off Operation No Angel Left Behind

Greg Wilson/Anderson Observer

The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office wants to do their part to make sure as many local children are not forgotten this Christmas.

The Third Annual “Operation: No Angel Left Behind” partners with Anderson County Schools to provide gifts for those children who might otherwise go without at Christmas.

The idea was born when Sheriff McBride noticed a lot of “Angels” between the ages of 12-18 being left behind on Angel Trees around town. In 2023, the Sheriff’s Office was able to help 70 kids in Anderson County thanks donations from local citizens.

To donate, contact the Sheriff’s Office or visit the Amazon Wish List to help meet this goal.
