Voter Registration Day Hopes to Boost Registrations

Tuesday is National Voter Registration Day, and Anderson County is encouraging those who have still not registered to vote to sign up in time for the November elections.

The Anderson County Board of Voter Registration and Elections are evening sweetening the deal Tuesday from 9 a.m.-noon, with free coffee and donuts at their office at 301 N. Main Street in downtown Anderson.

Voters are encouraged to register or update their voter registration and to ask any questions they may have about the upcoming election cycle.

Registration is also available online at www.scvotes.gov (requires SC Driver's License or DMV ID Card)

You can also register by: Downloading a voter registration form from www.scvotes.gov . Complete and return it to your county voter registration and elections office.

It’s not too late to register to vote in Anderson County’s November municipal elections, but time is growing short. Only those registered 30 days before the Nov. 7 elections will be eligible to vote in the races in Belton, Honea Path, Iva, Pendleton, Pelzer and West Pelzer
