Weather Shifts "Rhythm on the River" to May 19.

Saturday’s Rhythm of the River music festival at Dolly Cooper Park, has been rescheduled due to the forecast of possible severe weather. 

The festival will now be held May 19 from 1-8 p.m.

Connect Powdersville, who coordinates the event with Anderson County, wrote this in a Facebook post Thursday:

“At Connect Powdersville, safety and well-being are of our utmost importance. Without the worry of inclement weather, the new date allows us to deliver a safe, exceptional and memorable event that our sponsors, vendors, and attendees expect and deserve. We look forward to welcoming the community on the new date of Sunday, May 19th.
