Mayor: Williamston Showing Healthy Progress in Q1

The paving of Main Street (S.C. 20) in Williamston is welcome news, as the South Carolina Department of Transportation moves ahead on the project. Another $1 million in road projects are also planned in the town, thanks to the C-Fund allocations from the Anderson County Transportation Committee.
In addition to road upgrades, Williamston is experience an increase in new housing construction, new businesses opening, and plans that are finally in place for the old water plant and depot.
